We almost had her!

Today's Onyxia raid is not without failure. Apart from a huge repair bill, it was a great success. She was down to 4%!!!!!! That's right, we almost had her! The same time next week, we will try her again, but this time she is going down. Just think of all the gold and time spent as an investment for the future. For once we get her down, then it will have been well worth it. Make sure that you can be there! have all your potions ready to go!
It has been a while since we have re-attempted domo but we are going to try again tomorrow! We will bring him down Apoc style.

This week has saw us progress faster than we did last week! Lots more loot with a touch of rogue love (but only for a second or two.) The next raid on Sunday (Monday for some of us) will see Golemagg go down and Domo put in his place. Get your FR up as much as possible, because we are going to need it! Good going Apoc! And dont worry Keri, the Baron will go down each week till we find you those bindings.

On a sad note we have lost a few loved people to the server transfer. We wish them the best of luck in their decision & will welcome them back with open arms if they decide to roll a new character on this server.
A MOST progressive week

To date, this past week has been Apoc's best run yet. Tonight saw us go into MC and topple two new bosses before the instance has been reset: Golemagg The Incinerator & Sulfuron Harbinger. Cheers to Apocalypse and all who were there!

The score is we now have 8 out of 10 MC bosses down. This means that we have the ability now to kill each and every one of the bosses that drop people's Tier1 set. An MC raid has been organised for tomorrow, before the reset so we can topple Majordomo Executus, thus putting us in the position to Summon Ragnaros! Get your hands on all the fire resistance gear you can to help put rag beneath our feet!
Now what is a MC run without loot?! Well, there was much loot to be had! Grats to Gunz (T1 Shoulders), Xak (T1 Breastplate) and Dakkota (T1 Chest Piece) (plus everybody else that got a piece of the loot!)

Something else everybody should note - we have another Onyxia try this wednesday. Everybody get your key! If you dont know how to get it, then read the key quest guide section on this website! Almost all info you should need is on this website.
To all those that are worried that UBRS will be hard 10-man with the new patch, dont be! In keeping with the spirit of Apoc and doing things our own way, 5 of us marched into UBRS to start to clear the way for the people doing the Onyxia key & needed Drakk's blood. We completed up to the Armorsmith and then I had to go to work >.< But we could have made it do Drakk easily - AND we didn't have any druids or priests with us!

3 MC Bosses at once?

Apoc has gotten that good that we now can take down 3 bosses at once! Screenshots or it didn't happen you say? Now you can boast to all your friends, because proof is here...

Dont worry about the skeletons littered everywhere on the ground. Those are just the people who tried before us and failed! Apoc has now set itself up to push onto the next two bosses. Everybody should start getting their fire resistance up because Ragnaros will soon be ours and I hear he is made of fire O_o!
On a side note, for those intrested in getting their ZG rep up and farming for coins/bijous, we have been running short runs of ZG trash. You can start to organise your own if you seen enough people online! Today we took 2 warriors, 3 pallies, 2 hunters, 1 Mage and 1 Rogue. All we did in the end was clear stuff around the warter and in the water - so the fish (they are evil) and the crocks. On this run that lasted about 1.5hrs, each of us got a Bijou and there was many other coins (10+), plus random green drops.

Endless Pally Love

Although no 'firsts' for Apoc today, we are making more progression through MC. Today we managed to clear everything up to Mag in under 1Hour,10Minutes. This is amazing for Apoc! We could have sped it up further, but that is something to work on for the future.
Now, did I mention Pally love?! Well, there was much love to be had! All 3 bosses that went down today had a piece of Lawbringer upon them! It was a bit of a dissapointment that no BoE items dropped for any class, maybe it was just bad luck. But whatever items do drop, it is improving Apoc as a whole and I am sure we will be up to taking Garr down in < 2 hours soon enough.
Now other than all this raiding, Apoc still need the contribution of individuals. We need mats still to keep making the [Shifting Cloak] and [Hide of the Wild]. Please continue to gather what you can. One essence here or there helps! It also might be a good time now to 'zerg' Scholomance, just because the days of the fast 10-man Sholo runs are almost at an end.

Another First for Apoc

With everybody online for the ZG raid today it soon became apparent that there was more than enough to fill out an MC raid - Apoc Style! So today instead of ZG, we thought we would try to attempt Shazzrah. Attempt we did; the first two tries were not as successful as we had planned.
The first try Shazzrah teleported away from Gaug and to the first group. This caused much confusion as he killed alot of the raid with his arcane explosion. Needless to say Shazz's life did not go below 90%.
The second try Shazzrah was much the same again. He teleported immediately, but this time most of us managed to get away. Needless to say, with more than half the raid dead, Shazz stopped teleporting and Kalene got aggro. Shazz life was ~50% when we wiped.
Our third attempt saw a few people leave due to other commitments, but we also gained a few other who just came online as well. Shazz stood no chance before Apoc's might. With everybody on ranged damage, healers could keep Gaug up. It got dicey at the end with Shazz at 7% health, but a rush of rogue melee DPS helped bring him down (but not before Shazz killed most of the rogues with his Arcane Explosion!)
So another Apoc first - Shazzrah down! 6/10 Bosses in MC belong to Apoc and 4 remain.
On a lighter note, the battle with Shazz brought out a 'different' side of a few people! Also Truls believed he could fly:

Apoc Hits Legendary Status

Another Sunday and another swag of epics. But today was another day to mark in the history of Apoc. With Luci and Mag out of the way, Gehennas wen down fast and Garr soon followed with our signature 'two-warlock' takedown.
Now, while celebrating the taking down of Garr and the discussion of our next objective (The Baron) was brewing, Xak linked Garr's loot. What should drop but none other than:
This is an exciting day for Apoc. With Discussions about its signifance it came down to 4 people wanting it in the end. A big congratulations to Keridwen a Legendary warrior in the making.
Now the fun did not end there! With firm belief that The Baron would drop the other half of the bindings needed for Keri, Apoc was determined and focused to bring him down. And bring him down indeed! We brought him down so hard that when we were distributing the loot the server crashed.
In total, there were 11 Epics that dropped (one did not get handed out due to server crashing. Petition to GM was made by Xak, but we are awaiting the outcome) and 1 Legendary Item. Alas, the Baron did not drop the other half to the bindings, but we will see them soon enough. There was much pally love tonight, with Xak using some of those DKP (finally!)
